My guess would be a product tag underneath the bird ****?
ok, I need to edit this. Chalk it up to trying to a smart *** during a pissy day at work. Very sorry!
That’s ****** BRILLIANT! Why did I not think of that?!?! Bwahahahahaha
Seriously though, no offense taken. I got a laugh out of it
I was actually hoping for a specific spot to look for, so I wasn’t going through a wild goose chase in goose ****. I wasn’t planning on pressure washing the whole thing, as my hose “was” still frozen.
As far as in the garage, on the Ariens, I got the deck put back on, installed the new steering wheel, and decided to take it out for its first mow since being fixed. I did not replace the belt, and it bit me in the ***. It kept coming off when I disengaged the deck. That, and the adjustment rod in the front decided to kamikazee itself. Got it put back together and called it a day as far as mowing. In the pic, the left is uncut, the right is cut. Between the new blades, and the wider deck VS my brothers (46” vs 42” respectively), I’m diggin this mower. Not bad for free, and I’m still sub $300 into it. I seriously doubt I could have bought a $300 mower that was season ready.
Ok. Back on topic. I unloaded the Troy-bilt and decided to pressure wash it. I NEEDED to find that model number, so I can research and find out how much a transmission is (new or used). That’ll steer me into the direction I need to go (too expensive, find another mower like it needing work and combine the 2?) or just fix it outright. So, I crunched up the garden hose to break the ice inside, and got my pressure washer out. It threw some fits, not wanting to run in this cold weather. It finally stayed running, and I was able to pressure wash both mowers. Found the model tag under layers of crust.
Got everything put away, now it’s shower, dinner and bed time after I order parts.
