I think the only set of PRC Chinese made wrenches I have are a set of SATA combination wrenches with the deep offset boxed end. They're not bad as long as you don't look too close at the finish.

If you buy current Gearwrench, Husky, or Crescent combination wrench sets, they're all made in the SATA plant in the PRC. Amazon usually has them on sale with a pretty good range of sizes.
As for Taiwan made wrenches, I've got several sets that I like. Carlyle, Tekton, Capri, OEM Tools, Craftsman V Series (current production) Dewalt (older long pattern with anti slip open ends), Toptul, MAC Precision Torque, and Taiwan made Gearwrench. I think that's most of them. I want to try the new Die Hard long pattern combination wrenches with the anti slip open end but, I'm afraid someone would use the purchase of yet another wrench set as grounds for committal to institution of some type
