The wr20220603_165815.jpgapping on the metal of the header of my pole barn is warping. Does anyone have an idea how to remedy the problem? Thanks in advance!

The wood is drying out or moving in some way. Try to remove it (usually it's better to punch the nail through the metal) and replace it later. "Oil canning" is very typical in your situation and where the nails are placed is important but there's no guarantees.
It's possible that it's the metal expanding, go check it at midnight tonight.

It's normal. It's going to do that with temp changes. Probably worse with dark metal as the sun is going to cook it. It's probably "tight" in a spot and isn't able to float as much as it needs.

I'm very surprised anyone uses those terrible door "seals" anymore. The brush kind is much, much, much better for sealing.

The door looks like it's the wrong size for that opening if its fully closed, can't tell by pic if it's partially open. The seal should rest on the upper flat portion of the door not along the false raised panels.
I've never seen the seals with a brush instead for residential. Wouldn't they allow more air leakage if your shop was under HVAC? I know that is not the case for most shops but some guys have it and I hope one day I can reach that point.

I would have to agree with NWOhio and Sumboodie. I have a 12x12 south facing door and a 10x10 west door. Both are faced in white trim. The south facing door "oil cans" just like yours, top and both sides. Door trim/seal bows out with it also. The west door is protected from most of the afternoon sun due to the 12' lean-to. Still oil cans but not as much as the south door. So I do agree it it temperature related. Both metal door side trims were incased into the concrete when they poured the floor. I sure this adds to the issue some as it limits expansion travel. I have thought about elongating some of the screw holes to see if that helps but although i don't like looking at it's not on the top of my priority list right now.
