After seeing m6z's post on Saturday, I ordered a couple of small KTC diagonal cutters from Amazon Japan. I have large electrician's dikes, but have never purchased smaller ones that are designed for mechanics.

Either of these should be nice to throw into a small mesh bag if I want to take a few basic tools with me. Most of the 125-150mm cutters I have are precision electronics ones and/or have spring-loaded handles that make them less convenient to tuck away.

These cutters don't have the symmetry of my fancier tools, but they perform their job well.
