Another UK Car Boot find, and well worth the £1 paid for it to find out what it is.
It's saw-like but not sharp at all, and it looks to me that it was never sharp. You can press your finger as hard as you like along the serrated edge without any discomfort at all. It's very primitively made, home-made I'd say, but if I knew what I was talking about, I wouldn't need to come here to ask you guys...
The handle design suggests it needs quite a lot of force to do whatever it is that it does. The end was particularly rusty, so I polished it. And the end bends slightly to one side, which might give a clue as to what it is. Or it might be obvious to all but me!
Well, to be fair, the owner had no idea either, so I'm not alone.
