Why delivered? Don't you have a 1-ton diesel dually just for picking up small items like this?
You still have to get it out of the dually... It's a lot easier with a trailer!Don't you have a 1-ton diesel dually just for picking up small items like this?![]()

I knew I could count on you guys..That's what the 2-ton hoist on the trolly is for.
May you enjoy your Honda Tractor and good health for many years. So I bought a Honda lawn tractor because... well I'm an idiot. I have no use for this thing but I liked it and I have a thing for Hondas. Got it 'cheap' because it didn't start. "The key got stuck so we replaced it but it still won't start".
Heh. Put it up just to look. Very sketchy - do not do this.
Realize the starter itself is nuked. Know how you get the starter out of a Honda tractor? Pull the motor and flywheel; The starter bolts in from behind the flywheel. Yo, really Honda? Really??
Finally get the new starter from Amazon. I had to go aftermarket because Honda wants twice what I paid for the tractor for a new one. I had to reposition the solenoid, clock the motor body 180°, and swap out their 14ga starter wire for the OEM 8 gauge one.
And now it runs again. During the repair I found a guy selling spare parts about an hour away. From the spares I changed the rubber driveshaft coupler out (mine was worn), replaced the failed brake pads, and found... a spare starter.

Changed the valve stem caps on the ZX11... Black ones...
May change them again for shiny anodized silver aluminum
Removed black valve stem caps from ZX11, fitted shiny silver ones.
That's nice work. You took the time to cut dadoes for better support instead of just screwing your 2x4s together face-to-face and leaving all the load weight on the fasteners. Everything's nice and flush and square; you must have spent an hour in the lumber aisle finding the straightest pieces. Not everyone would pay that much attention to detail on utility shelves. Thumbs way up.
Checked the date codes on the ZX11 tires... Wish I hadn't...
Front was made 38/09
Rear was made 50/09

Whatever, I also filled up the barn shopvac twice cleaning up the winter squirrel detritus. Maybe later I'll start on the upstairs, I also need to rewire the power up there while I'm at it.Sharpened the blades on both my Handi Cutters ( Sears)
Wife calls them Bob Villa,s - years ago when Bob was hacking these on tv she went to Sears to get me a pair.
She couldn’t remember the actual name. A gal next to her said Bob Villa ! Wife said yeah !
Name has stuck since then ! Get the Bob Villa’s and cut this !

You reminded me that I have that very same radio. I need to get it down off the garage shelf:Plus I found my grandmother's old Zenith transistor radio. The ONLY thing missing is the dial insert for the tone wheel. I'm looking for a 12v power supply to wire in to try it but I may eventually break down and buy EIGHT D cell batteries to give it a try and see if it still works. Just now typing I had an idea, maybe I'll try clipping in a pair of jumpers and hooking it up to my trucks battery, that's 12v and all the amperage it could possibly need. I'll have to give that a try tomorrow!
