Got the garage workshop stuff shuffled around. Just need to get the pickup stakebed out of the way and the big table can go crossways in the middle for the furniture assembling, after it finishes serving as an outfeed table for the saw. I'm about ready to pick up the first costly hardwood-veneer plywoods and dice them down into the various panels for my office furniture and my parents' media shelving.

Distressingly, 3/4" veneer plywood remains around $95/sheet here. It was $50 last time I built any furniture. Even 1/4" veneer is $80.
And beadboard seems unobtainable in raw pine boards. Lots of expensive prefinished panels in many finishes I don't want. So I need to do some more material sourcing work.
The other HUGE problem in moving, decades of knowledge and familiarity with what was available where in greater Los Angeles is all lost, useless to me here. And I've been so damned busy here I still don't know where to find any specialty items. McMalls everywhere, no dearth of 'consumer' crapola, but I still have to hunt the kind of places I need.

"Fixed" the ignition key sticking in the tumbler randomly on the '08 Cobalt. Mainly the daily driver here for the winters in Ohio. With the gas bs, the Silverado has been sitting quite a bit Have been using the emergency release button at the bottom of the column lately to release the key. As most here probably know, it's not the key tumbler. The pin that raises up and down and hits the switch at the bottom of the shifter wasn't making the switch (or the switch lever is wore out) letting it know it was in "P". The pin was still present, not interested in putting any money into the deal. Zip tied the switch closed works fine. ***I am the only one who drives this, so safety concerns are out the window..and no JB Weld was used!

Pulled a bunch of stuff of the wall. Hung a big TV. Put the hose reel back on the wall. Made a rack for the bar clamps. Fiddled with the new to me tv and remote. Ordered a new remote. Fixed a couple badly chipped nails. Cleaned.

Not just a TV Kay. I call mine a Productivity Enhancement Tool because it gets me off the couch and into the garage doing things while listening to things in the background. Usually a YT video etc. And see, already you got a bunch of other things done with the PET turned on!!!

Good grief, this ZX11 is trying to test my patience...
Got it all back together yesterday & it manifested another fault.

First it had an issue where pushing the starter *** would only result in a *click*.... Twice, then it would turn over & fire up on the third press of the ***.
But ONLY when there were witnesses, it would fire right up when I tried to diagnose the issue in the garage or it there was no one around when I was out on the bike.
Turns out the battery terminals weren't *tight*.. but they weren't loose either.
It's stopped doing that...

NOW (since yesterday) it spins over when I push the ***, but doesn't fire up until the third attempt... Not the 2nd or the 4th etc, ALWAYS on the third try..

And ONLY when there are witnesses. Yesterday it was another Kawasaki mechanic I worked with years ago. He couldn't believe how clean & *unfucked with* my ZX11 is... Then it took three attempts for it to fire up...
It fires up first press of the *** in the garage or if I'm out on the bike & there's no one around...

This bike has starter cut-off switches on the kick stand & the clutch lever. However, if they are faulty I *think* nothing happens at all when you press the ***. I need to investigate this. I know they can easily be bypassed with a jumper.

It's been awhile...

This last weekend I took it easy. I mowed lawn and hooked up the propane burner to kill off some of my weed pile. Only notable garage accomplishment was showing / helping my daughter use the Milton air chuck to inflate a tire. She likes to push the lever on it.

We inflated a flat on my new toy. It's an older welder generator; Lincoln Ranger 8. Like most things I acquire it needs some work, but it has potential to be a nice unit.

Rigged up a bucket for draining the compressor.

I have nearly the same setup with hose running to a bottle, but I only use a gallon jug and then dump as needed. I like your idea of a dedicated five gallon bucket with sealed lid however.

Well it only took 5 years but I finally built a camper dolly. I have wanted to do this at several houses we had, but just never got it done.

It works well for moving it and then I put the jacks back down to store it. No need to keep all the weight on the dolly.

This was built with wood I already had. The 3/4 ply was already cut in those sections, so why waste another sheet. I used 6” casters. Pretty happy with it.

Back in the early 90's when we had our 10.5' Northland camper, I built a similar cart to move my camper around on. I would back my truck up to the shop to off-load the camper but then needed to move it around behind the house so it was out of the way. The dolly worked great. Then when I was ready to load the camper I could position it where it was more in line with my driveway.

Nice job on the camper dolly/cart.

Planed down some cheap cedar fence pickets, created a rabbit on the sides and used them to cover interior walls on a small cabin at the back of our property..

I would back my truck up to the shop to off-load the camper but then needed to move it around behind the house so it was out of the way. The dolly worked great. Then when I was ready to load the camper I could position it where it was more in line with my driveway.

Cleared the CEL codes in the SBH (running rich on both banks), took it for a 30 mile run to blow it out as it usually gets used for 2 mile runs in town.
Put some air in the tires & it drove like a new car, not an 18yo shitbox.

But got it wet sanded with 220, now it’s hang drying. When it’s dry, I’ll see what all I missed and go at her again. Then repair the gouges and holes. Then 600 grit, primer, more prep, then paint, then more prep, and then clear coat. Not trying to make it 100% perfect, just don’t want to make a cross country trip in a green truck with a red bumper LMAO

God that's the truth! when I was just learning to drive my dad had a 67 4WD International 3/4 ton 4X4 (with winch and Bardon extendable bumper for the camper) and we had sanded and primed all he PO's b"Battle damage" everyone gave that truck a wide berth (I know, I drove it more than my did did...) after he had it painted all pretty, they would crowd you to stupid levels...

If it were me, I'd skip all the finish work, spray it with rattle can Rustoleum bedliner, and call it done.
Well maybe fill the holes and gouges 1st, the bedliner texture will hide the rest.

Recently installed a dry well for a gutter that had nowhere to drain. As the ground settled, I needed to repair the gravel and regrade the area. So I had 6 tons of #9 stone dropped and pushed it around.
Project creep kicked in and 50 tons later I've redone the whole upper driveway. I had to have it brought in 10 tons at a time so it wouldn't tear up the lower, asphalt driveway. They still took out some low branches. It had to be done.
