What's new/good/innovative from Snap-on?

So for various reasons I haven't had Snap-on service for around 6 or 7 years. I now have access to multiple trucks. I've been on two of the trucks but only very briefly as I was in a rush to get a job finished..

When I'm not so rushed, what are some newer Snap-on tools you'd recommend I check out?

I like their pocket pry bars. So far I haven't broken one. They have a lot of hard handle ratchet/ screw driver/ picks options these days.

I actually have a set after seeing a post on here. Love them! Thank you

I have a set of both angled and straight ones in red. And orange. And green. And a pair of the Mac ones. I have a problem and need help. Thank you

They just released a new zeus platform, so the scan tool trade in market should be decent as the new model works its way in.

That is really good to know. I've been tempted to get a good scan tool for a while now, might have to see about picking up one of those trade-ins. Thank you.

Btw I read your posts and you know your ****, what kind of scan tool do you (or your shop) have?

Thanks for the compliment. I have 3 now.

Autel 906 - ultimate base model with cord.
Topdon Phenoix lite 2 - approx 1 month old.
Snap On Zeus - got it last week, it's a gen 1 windows 7 unit but it's current on software. Traded in my solus legend. Expecting to list my gen 1 modis for sale soon as a result of condensing into one tool.

I like them all for different reasons. Autel is currently being used less due to "OMG NEW" of the topdon/snapon.

Used these today to torque some TSI fuel lines. Really like these.

Obviously you need 2 of these, and 2 of the 1/4 drive. Not new, just really nice tools to have.

Thanks for the reply and info. Besides code readers I've used a few older scan tools but they were all lower end models. An OTC, an Autel and a Launch I believe, no idea on models. I'm getting into more car stuff for side work so a good scan tool could pay for itself (hopefully). I'm pretty sure a Solus with decent updates/keys would be plenty but I'll look at the others you mention.

Cheers

ps I've had the FZ1 (never noticed the 1/4s tbh) for a number of years. I pretty much bought them as a novelty so I was more pleased than I probably should have been when I found an actual real-world case when I kind of "needed" to use them. Yes I could have rigged something up otherwise but no matter! My purchase was vindicated.

Same here. Only Snap-On tool I ever bought. It came in handy the other day. The other long nose/needle nose pliers I have wouldn't have gotten the job done so easily, but this one did. It really is a solid feeling tool.
It feels huge in the hand for a pair of needlenose! They are indeed very stout. I find I'm using them for regular plier duties and not just "needlenose" stuff. What I mean is that before if I was using some needlenose pliers then switched to a heavier duty task I would have grabbed a pair of cobras or something but it's usually unnecessary with these. 1 less walk to my toolbox is always a win.

in the case I used them, it was the middle "detent" and keeping the jaws parallel that made the task easier. Ordinary long nose pliers with only one pivot would have been "splayed" too far apart to get a good grip. Other pliers wouldn't have fit.

I knew as soon I saw them on that thread that they were a good idea. I recalled situations where they would have come in handy in the past. I bought them. It's always satisfying the first time a tool I buy proves it's worth to me.

I'm not sure if they are new or not though the straight prybars are handy. I use them a lot as a long chisel for separating stuff.
