Just got these yesterday, used the **** out of them today working on a crusty *** 2014 Journey. TONS of uses for these! They remind me of the old Cman Pro 2 position needle nose, but WAY more stout and longer.

One pic is 97ACF needle nose next to the LN47ACFs.

I got one from my dealer a few weeks back. He had a few left at the time. Only used them once so far to pull a stubborn empty tube of grease from my grease gun. But they looked interesting, so I couldn't pass on buying them.

My biggest complaint with SO’s regular long nose pliers has been how little of an area they serrated. The talon grip is great but there just wasnt enough of it. These pliers address that issue with much more gripping zone. I would love this jaw design applied to their regular pliers.

My neighbor was showing me these. He got a pair. I haven’t seen them on the truck yet but I will be watching for them. I plan to pick them up aw well. Hopefully they will have some colors other than red but if I have to settle for red I will.

The CM professionals are nice used them since 05, the SO plier set (4 pcs) is definitely nicer, including the adjustable channel pliers 91acp. The SO is worth the wait due to supply chain.

I think they were around $60. I'd have to check to get the exact amount I paid.

Snap On pliers are actually one of their more "affordable" tools. Knipex pliers for example can often hit the $50-$60 range. Other Euro and Japanese tools are often similarly priced as well.

This looks about as much a game changer as when Snap-On came out with the Stork extra long needle nose pliers. I had been a dealer for a few years by then, and when I showed them to the mechanics in my route almost every one of them laughed and told me that they already had needle nose pliers. This was pre cell phone or even pager days, but most of my customers knew where I was during each day, so within a couple hours I’d start getting told that the guy I saw in the morning wanted me to come back by, cuz he really needed those Orange Storks! Sold hundreds of them over the years, and I probably own 4-5 myself! Just called my dealer and he’s coming by later today so I can get me a pair. Yes, the sickness continues!

I've been eyeing these pliers ever since Snap-on announced them - I spoke to my dealer about them last week, and he told me red only for now. I'm gonna wait in hopes that Snap-on makes them available in green... Can't have a red-handled step-child in the middle of all my green Snap-on pliers haha!

SO has gotten very stingy with the area of Talon Grip serrations. The 196CF's on the left were older then the brand new pair of 196CF's on the right. I guess they cut back on the serration machining so they could maintain their everyday low prices.

Every pawn shop I've seen loves Snap On, because they can look up retail prices and ask them. I've never seen a deal on Snap On at a pawn shop, though I've bought some from ebay pawn shops.

The tools I've done well on at pawn shops were when they had no clue what they had. Like a Stahlwille Manoskop torque wrench.

I buy green whenever I can, but I've got some red mixed in. I don't know if they just sell too fast, but buying green can be difficult. I often have to order it.

But I've got multiple colors in my box. Knipex is red, blue Vessel, orange Vessel, black organizers, etc...

The only red I have in my box is Knipex, it’s one of the ways I quickly spot them in the drawer. These are making me think long and hard about bringing in a set of red Snap-ons though 😂

Got mine yesterday. Went to get a 14.4V magnetic battery boot (incredible BTW), and he had 48 of these guys onboard. Got back to the shop and used them within the hour to pull ceramic burnishing balls out of some threaded holes they shouldn't have gotten into. The sharp corners on the nose make very fine work possible and the rest of the thing is just mean with serrations. I also like how the nose flairs out a little. Fantastic looking tool and the performance is on par with the looks so far.

I am generally a Knipex man, but boy... checking out the plier drawer on the truck and I was impressed with a few things - the long nippers, Talon Grip stuff in general, the stork nose. And hey, I watched the Snap On factory tour of where they make pliers, and we all have the same CNC mills (Speedios), so now I'm an even bigger fan!

hope you didnt pay SO prices for those automotive strippers, VIM was closing them out for $5/pair a year ago.
