Removed the under engine splash guard.
There's 2 - 6M x 1 bolts in C clips, in plastic - one on each side of the vehicle.
Naturally on of them ripped out of the plastic.
What do you do when this happens?
Is anyone familiar with this exact situation?
I usually be pop rivet a piece of stainless or aluminum to be to the plastic to fix the issue.
I haven't looked at this more closely yet. At a glance it looked as though I might have to take more pieces loose to fix what I broke.
Before breaking it, I tried to see if I could get a Video grip on the clip to hold it, but never figured it out.
Now that it's off I think I could have got a square socket on the square nut welded to the C clip, If I had known how things were put together
