First things first,
Huge shoutout to
@GJSS for all of the work behind the scenes with everything. This is such an awesome tradition and I'm honored to have been able to take advantage of participating this year!
Turns out
@stonesfan68 was my GJSS this year, and I can't thank him enough, he definitely knocked it out of the park. Thank you for the kind words in the enclosed card!
Box contents:
Vintage Crafstman vicegrips- These things are in great condition and will fit right at home in the box, I'm a sucker for repurposed and vintage tools so these are right up my alley.
Micro Flush cutters- can't ever have enough of these! My dad used to always sprinkle pens or markers around his garage, while I still do the same, I'm fairly certain I have more of these micro dikes spread throughout than anything else. I've been lacking a dedicated set for my portaband/drill press area so these have already been employed.
Knipex twingrip pliers- Does anything else need to be said here? Knipex red for Christmas is like a German hug in a box. Can't wait to put these to use!
Tekton stubby- I actually don't have any stubby's in the race trailer yet, so this has a home waiting as well! Good feel and super convenient to swap back and forth.
Carlyle 10mm assortment- Can't lie, every time I come across these I get a good chuckle, but I've never purchased one myself. I don't typically have an issue with tools walking off.. however not going to lie I am somewhat concerned with this concentrated of an assortment of 10mms!... Might need to install a toddler drawer alarm on my socket drawer just to be sure, unless I drill some holes in each and safety wire them together.. might be on to something here!
Klein Tools bottle opener- Can confirm, the operation does not disappoint, very smooth and the grip ensures positive traction on the tool throughout the process. This will make me chuckle every time I'm reaching for a cold one, which happen to be more bottles than cans anyways!
Thanks again Andrew, Merry Christmas!
