Yes, but you have to keep it charged. Mine (3 different brands) seem to hold a charge for about 6 months but I still check them all once a quarter. No, not so far, every now and then it happens.

You may want to correct your heading and add an N to the nameOCO Boost Plus GB40 1000 Amp boost starter.
V6, 3.1LI have the GB40. it has worked great and started 4cyl with a dead battery multiple times on a charge. But on my V8, it would not jump it, in fact I didn't even hear it turn over once. so for small engines its very handy. But if you have a V8 look elsewhere. I also used it to jump my EV when the 12v died and it worked on that also, but it could only do it twice before it was dead.
I made the mistake of buying a quantity of them at a tool show.NOCO Boost Plus GB40 1000 Amp boost starter.

I just checked Costco's online store and it shows no NOCO products at all. Not all Costco stores carry the same products. If you are a Costco club member, they have the NOCO GBX Boost X 1250A Jump Starter for $99.99. I just saw it here in Southern California.
My local Costco has the NOCO GBX Boost. No info on the box nor on the Costco website. Only learned it was 1250A from this thread. I’ll pick one up tomorrowI just checked Costco's online store and it shows no NOCO products at all. Not all Costco stores carry the same products.
only for the first ten nanoseconds......which is 4,000 amps I believe.
Interesting. Wonder if they changed the artwork for Costco... It' doesn't even show the model?
