I need info on a (What is the best buy and safe ) floor jack , 3 ton probably. I will use this in my own garage, but will get substantial use, thanks, Dana
Well, I had some 2 inch angle iron and decided to take off my flimsly legs and apply 4 new ones. welded some cut off pieces of angle iron to ea. leg and drilled holes to accept my caster wheels. Done. Thanks for the input, Dana
I'm kinda thinking to get some 1/8 in plate and weld on the bottom of my legs, basically it will be cut like a gusset when it's all trimmed off, then add casters to it. I am only going to roll this back and forth under my bench! really not to much weight on them, mineral spirits and small parts...
I need some ideas, I have a standard wash tank, that the legs are 3inch angle, approx 18 guage only, and I want to weld some wheels to make a roller, has anyone got a picture and what is the easiest way to add wheels to the legs? TIA, Dana
I use baby food jars, (all sizes) I run a 2x4 6ft long approx, mount it then I install the lids with one screw underneath then I twist my jar on to it and works fine, cheap too. No more baby jars now though, just aspirin, blood pressur etc!!!
I have done this and it works great, BUT make sure in the middle leave a space approx 4, 5ft then you can reach everything when you put your ladder up there (both sides).
I have a 220v plasma cutter and want to cut some mild steel and need some tips, angle how to start etc, Seems like in the past I always get alot of crappy edges, nothing is very sharp, I NEED ADVICE, TIA
You won't get as many starts as you may think because those few low spots on the commutator is what caused your brushes to wear out as bad as they did. To properly make it as good U MUST sodder the arm wires back to the Comm. (Sorry if I sound neg, but thats the way it is) Looks real nice though!
Forget all that cleaning ****, First it is better after done spraying, turn can upside down and spray till just air comes out, but if u r like me and always gets lazy or doesn't shake well enough, just when u use your last good paint can and instead of throwing it away, get a nice jar and save...
