    Maxjax bleeder screw problem

One of my bleeders was leaking also. I tried a copper washer, but it only worked for a few times. I tried the maxjax parts phone number and all they did was refer me to the Bendpack parts website. It seems to be worthless for small parts. I figured out it is a bonded seal (Dowty washer)...

Any tips on keeping a hammer drill square to the slab?

I used a laser level that projects a vertical line. I looked at from the side off and on while drilling. Helped reassure me one axis was good.

Lift Jacking Points F350 SuperDuty-BendPak short arms

I don't know it this applies, it's a MaxJax and a 2001 F-250 short bed. It does have pictures of the lift points I use. http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=200908&highlight=maxjax+truck+adapters

    Truck frame adapters for MaxJax

I figured I would update my findings in case someone else wants to know. I bought the Greg Smith Atlas 1 3/8" truck frame adapters to use with my maxjax. I think it worked really well. I already had the 6" truck extensions from GES. You can see in the pictures the problem areas. The Atlas...

    Another new DFW'r

I've never had a chance to work on a car up on a lift . It looks like it would be a lot nicer way to work. Have you had a chance to try it and compare?

    Another new DFW'r

Great site. Moving into a another house and I'm planning a purpose built detached garage for automotive work. It will be limited by code to about 20'X30". I'm looking for ideas and suggestions how to get it right the first time. I am wondering if a lift is worth the effort.
