This John Deere has held up great. I have had it over 20 years. The new JD ones are plastic, made in China now, but I see these older ones available used on FB Marketplace, Craigslist, Offer Up etc, often.

Those are very nice boxes. $2,000 sounds fair, but really it depends on where you are. Those KRL series boxes are built like tanks.

I bought this one a couple of years ago for $150.00 It works fine, but did need a caster which I was able to find locally at an old hydraulic shop. I was so excited about having it, I disassembled it and had at it painting and detailing. It really is a great jack.

I would say that is just one of your garden variety imports. The slotted pump plunger is the tip off for me. You'll have to disassemble to get measurements for replacement seals and cups.
