I would appreciate help identifying this floor jack please. I am hoping its an old American floor jack because I like it and would enjoy restoring it. Thank you

Hard to say, Check under the jack or on the lift arm near the front for casting numbers or embossed letters.

Is it a two-piece handle? Are the fasteners metric? Those attributes would help you determine if it was USA produced.

It kind of looks like a typical Taiwan produced jack to me - they were sold by many different stores but were all pretty much the same, and were actually pretty decent quality (I've had the one I bought from Sears for over 40 years.) Take a look at the repair tutorial posted by board member Hiball to see if the information there matches up. https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/threads/overseas-jack-rebuild-help-tutorial.51105/

It is a two piece handle. That is a smart idea to check for metric fasteners. I will check tomorrow. Thank you!

Thank you. Did older blackhawks use orange paint?I thought they used red.
They were red, except for the ones sold through Sears, which were a bluish green. That's not a USA made Blackhawk, but it can still be a good jack - tear into it and see what the innards look like.

Except for the square white pad and being orange, it is the look-alike to the 1980 Sears jack that I have. Those are great jacks, built to last.

Rebuild it!! Try Hydraulic Parts Supply" in Sawyer Kansas to identify/get rebuild parts.

You are welcome, I hope I am correct. Also, Blackhawk did paint their jacks orange not just red.
Are you basing that on the picture you posted? Because I've never seen any piece of Blackhawk USA equipment in orange, only red. And with Hein-Werner a competitor, I can't imagine Blackhawk ever using orange.

I have what I always thought was a 2 ton blackhawk , orange with a round pad. We bought it new back in 78. The sticker is gone but I know damn good and well it read blackhawk. It doesnt work anymore but rolls better than any of the other 5 I have.
