The style looks like early 50's. By the late 50's they started to look more modern. My parents had a 1947 Frigidaire that looked very similar. It lasted for almost 50 years. They say old friges are expensive to operate. Bob

I fought this problem and the will go up but will not go down without reversing back up if the temp is below 40 deg problem for 4 years. Just give it up now and save your blood pressure. Buy a new one and move on. Bob
