I picked up an older Hobart 125, and it has a spot in the housing for a gas line, and the polarity can easily be swapped. I am wondering if anyone knows if the newer Miller based kit will work, or can be made to work, to run MIG instead of flux. thin bodywork is giving me fits on the lowest...

So, just like in the picture above, the motor only needs the 2 wires, and the green simply screws to the open spot on the base. I think I got it, thanks.

Not to hijack this thread, but I just picked up a Black Max 60 gallon 6hp, 230v. When I opened the case, it has 2 wires going from the switch, to the motor. Where would I put a 3rd wire? Just ground to the body of the compressor where the screw is missing (next to UL Label)? Pictures are loading.

You want to put ice and water under the shingles? or a moisture barrier?

I feel so lucky. I bought a house with 220v/200a to the shop, then it runs to 100a for the house. meter is on the shop. I just wish the shop was BIGGER!
