    Drill press value

Those yellow safety keys in the middle of the on/off switch were popular 1980ish, so I'd say this unit is about 45 years old. She's almost a cougar!

    Milwaukee Power Tools Deal Permathread

Gents, thank you for the quick replies last week. I went ahead and ordered a pair of 8.0 batteries with the prepurchase reassurance I was looking for. I own a pair of 8.0s that I use in the dual battery blower and string trimmer I purchased on one of the Home Depot deals in the spring. Having 4...

    Milwaukee Power Tools Deal Permathread

Are these genuine Milwaukee batteries sold by a rouge reseller? Supposedly Amazon is not an authorized Milwaukee reseller, but I'm tempted to buy and compare to the current ones I have from Home Depot.

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

I'm six lights deep on the M12 platform. This one has replaced my M12 stick light as my favorite go-to light. Glad the magnet is built in in and not the overpriced accessory (49-24-2351) that is a must buy to make the M12 stick most useful.

Shower in Garage a good idea?

Especially if it has a detachable handheld shower apparatus, a shower stall or combo tub in the garage is good for washing the shop canine/manager if need be...

Broke My Drop Light; shopping LED stuff

Thanks for the pointer on this light. I just wanted to post an FYI that I also found this one http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000256R2S/?tag=atomicindus08-20 which looks like the same light but is black and has a 25ft cord while the one you posted is yellow with a 6ft cord. Some might want to be like...

Pics of my rolling metal work bench.

Very nice... very, very nice!! Well thought out! I like how you mounted the vise on a peninsula to give room for working on items hang below the table top. If you weren't so far away in Sarah Palinville, Alaska, I'd have you build me one. I'd have you add one small drawer underneath the...

    Adding more lighting...

Should we read anything into the Obama-Biden lawn sign that suddenly appears in the 'junk pile' background of your later photos? Are you subliminally trying to tell us something?

Does your tool box look like this?

I find myself amazed how many like photos end up on eBay with the seller wanting in excess of $10k for the box and the contents...

    Shop Vacuum Accessory Storage

I second tojan10's recommendation of the Goretex based shop vac filters. Let me add that the filters are HEPA rated and are especially good for vacuuming drywall dust. No different than any other filter, the drywall dust will eventually accumulate and clog the filter. I find that soaking it...

Question about so ratchet I bought on e-bay

The picture is unclear. Check to see if your digital camera has a macro mode and try again. The macro mode is typically only accessible via a button or menu, but does wonders for the clarity of up close shots...

KY always makes it easier on the skin too! LOL! Thanks for the ATF tip... I never heard that one before.

This guy is going to have some explaining to do

I guess he couldn't figure out how to send eBay Admin an email... One has to think that he was going to take the better bid and play dumb on the other. Since neither auction met reserve, he now has two listing fees to pay. eBay is unlikely to let him play dumb on that one...
