I got a rebuild kit for an older snapon ratchet - f117a if it makes a difference. I followed a youtube video and got the thing disassembled no problem, but when I was trying to put it back together i came across a bit of a snag. It looks like my version of the ratchet had the dustcover inset...

Interesting. I guess the experience isn't universal. I sent an email about a ratchet that needs a rebuild. The response back was a list of about 10 questions about the providence of the tool. They also suggested to reach out to my local truck.

Actually it was your post about the trimmer and blower that confused me. I wasn't sure where the numbers were coming from but I got it now.

Will they give you the full amount for a package item in-store? Say you bought the two bare tool and get battery free combo, uf you return one of the tools will you get the regular tool price or whatever percentage of the total you spent to account for the batteries.

How does that work? Do you show your online receipt and so they not prorate the refund based on the bundle? Will they take a return without a receipt and what are the limitations there ?

Rumor is that Craftsman will be replacing the Kobalt boxes. The other boxes at my local store are all being clearanced out.

Nice. I stopped in yesterday and one of the workers said it would be a year or two until they get the new colors. I guess the only people that really know are in the hf corporate office.
