    Tools from the old world

Talking of Wiha, I've just picked up a few bits n bobs. I wish they would sell their latest XXL 3 electricians mobile tool case empty. I contacted them direct about it and was told it isn't on their radar. Shame really.

I have all of the 1000n ratchets, the extending one is super rigid throughout its range no noticeable flex when using it to change wheels. Solidly made but as you might expect, quite heavy at approx 1.4kg.

Mr Lemons, thanks for vid. Wondered whether you were gonna smash your knuckles when that Stahlwille slipped! Pleased with my Hazet, even more so having watched vid. Just picked up a set of Hazet 600Lg which are a bit longer than their normal 600 range, could be worth a look next?

Festool latest additions. Looking forward to using the concrete/screed bits as fed up of knackering general purpose mortar bits on floors.

I'd happily crawl through a barrel of broken glass to live in the Stubai valley. Nice.

    Tools from the old world

I’ve lurked here since May 2018, drawn in on my research for decent European made tools. This thread has continued to be a real fascination, grateful for all the contributions Monte etc.etc.. Since joining, I’ve bought a fair percentage of the Hazet back catalogue (lol) in particular I must...

my little escape from the city of London

That’s some story on honeymoon, awesome. Agree that garage has great potential!

If this was your garage, what would you use?

Diamond grinder with good dust extraction!

    Hazet Tool Chests

It's a double garage. The Sealey trolley looks pretty useful - will also check that out as well as the Halfords and Costco tool chest options. Thanks.

    Hazet Tool Chests

Hah, yes it can be a bit damp here. Will have a closer look at the Snapon and Mac catalogues to get a better idea of other models. Ideally I'd be looking at a usable non-chinesium stainless work top too. Maybe a big ask for my budget.. Cheers, Ben.

    Hazet Tool Chests

Hi, I'm new here - found this site based on some research into Hazet tools. I'm a DIYer and have always had an interest in collecting decent tools (I blame my dad as my childhood memories of him never having the right tool for the job still haunt me!) I've collected a few Facom and Hazet bits...
