napa air tool oil is the only thing ill use on my nitrocat, and its actually what was recommended to me from aircat when i called, thats what they use, so ill use it too. you cant go wrong

Anyone who has just greased their nitrocat.. good job on screwing it up. Its an oil-bath design, you're not supposed to put grease in there. No wonder impacts stop working after less than a year whether its aircat or cp or ir. no one reads their damn freakin manuals.

pulling the plugs off this 5.4 is not an easy job to do. Many times, even if you are careful, they will break right in there no matter how much de-carbon, rust breakers products, whatever. heads up!

my opinion would either be IR or an aircat. I stay away from the snap-ons because i just find that the snap on brand is overrated and very overpriced except for a few specialty items. As others have mentioned, the ir231 is indeed a badass in terms of durability.. very difficult to over abuse...
