Came home from overseas and found some tools just inside my barn laid out next to a salt block of all things. They had to have been sitting there six months and lets just say I was pissed off.
I am in the market for a new sae and metric wrench set. I have a 14 and a 7 with bent open ends on my John Deere set. The other is raised panel craftsman. I am going to look into SK and Wright.
I have a 14mm wrench spread on me, but it is one of the newer chrome ones. The rest of the set has stood the test of time. I bought that set back in 98. Happy with the set but pissed about the 14.
I have one screwdriver that looks like the above. One of my first screwdrivers I ever got, I took it out of my dads toolbox back in the 90s. I still have it and love the dam thing.
I would be careful not to get that counterweight too heavy then overload the loader. You could end up with a "pasture" split tractor, or a broke front axle. Both cases are a big mess.
Great post!
1. Slow Down
2. Ask questions
3. Have a manual on hand.
4. If you can, screw bolts back in parts that have been removed or put them in the holes they go through to mount to something.
5. Lay everything out in stages and then in order of what is to be put on next when you go to put...
