Why is pegboard so disappointing? Am I doing it wrong?

I always wanted peg board and finally installed some over the work bench in the garage. I like it, but it is limiting and sometimes even annoying when the pegs fall out.

Anyone ever see this before ?

Thanks for the replies. The way it is now is not convenient at all. I have to lift the whole unit up about 6 inches to get enough clearance. What exactly is a "Street L" as opposed to any other type of elbow ? (dont really know what "street" means.)

Anyone ever see this before ?

I picked up this Craftsman compressor a while ago, works pretty good. I went to drain the tank and found the petcock had been swapped out for a quick connect fitting. I've never seen anything like this before and can't really figure out why it was done. I had to lift it up onto wood blocks...

    Help With A Floor Jack

Well I finally have an update for this thread. The jack is fixed and working just as it should !! :bounce: I didn't fix it. There was no way I could disassemble the ram, and rather than ruin it, I figured I'd find a pro to do it. Good luck with that ! I tried 4 different equipment repair...

    Help With A Floor Jack

Thanks Paul ! That's kinda what I wanted to know - better to go for the packing nut before the tank nut. I think I'll hit it with wd40 for a few days before I try to get it apart.

    Help With A Floor Jack

Hey Guys, I was finally able to find a set of rear casters for this jack, so I'm bumping this thread up. Now I'm ready to get it fixed and working again. I have to say though that I have a lot of reservations. The last thing I want is to damage it beyond repair. Is it possible to determine...

    Help With A Floor Jack

Hi Guys, I'm hoping to get a little help getting this jack back in working order. I guess the first thing I need to do is identify what kind of jack it is. I can make out 1 1/4 ton from the casting, but I don't know anything else. Also one of the rear wheels is missing. Anyone know where I...

    Drill Bit Storage

Those Huot indexes are nice, but I think a drawer system may be the way to go. There are not just a lot of bits, but there are so many different applications - steel, wood, hole, masonry, press ect. I'm having trouble figuring out how to organize them all. I guess its not such a bad problem...
