    Sealer prior to rubber floor

Awesome, that looks ideal. I'll have to call them and make sure it's compatible with MS polymer adhesives. Fingers crossed. Thanks!

    Sealer prior to rubber floor

I'm getting ready to put rubber flooring down on a concrete slab and am getting all my ducks in a row. The glue I'll be using (Dritac 7700) is a MS polymer adhesive. For this application, its moisture spec when used as an adhesive only is 3 lbs per 1k sq ft per 24 hr. I did a calcium chloride...

    The Best Light Fixture Ever!

You have 26 of the dual bulb version (52 bulbs)? Or single bulb version (26 bulbs)?

    The Best Light Fixture Ever!

I have a 18'x50'x9' space that I need lit. Its currently a garage, but we're converting it into a dual purpose space...purpose #1 is dog training, purpose #2 is home gym. First priority is even light distribution, so I'm thinking about using the single bulb variant of the Maxlite T8 fixture from...

    The Best Light Fixture Ever!

This is an awesome thread! I have a space that's 18'*50'*9'. It'll be actually used for dog training...not your traditional garage... Any guidance on how many fixtures I would need?

Suggestions for garage HVAC with doggos - Indiana

Good suggestion, and is actually on our list of long term desires. If we eventually end up doing that, it'll be done properly, which will mean a significant time/money investment (think order of magnitude more), much more than what we're putting into the garage.

Suggestions for garage HVAC with doggos - Indiana

The pups are GSD working dogs. There will only be two in there regularly and we're setting everything up so it'll be easy to properly care for them (polyurea floor, FRP behind the kennels, pressure washer hookups in the garage). If it gets nasty hot or nasty cold, they'll be in crates in the...

Suggestions for garage HVAC with doggos - Indiana

Let me clarify...we live out in the sticks so the propane heater I referred to would be ceiling mounted and fed by our 500 gallon propane tank. Do those still represent a notable fire hazard? I wouldn't think any more than our propane furnaces for the house. Also, with a mini split, wouldn't I...

Suggestions for garage HVAC with doggos - Indiana

Hi! Been lurking here for a long time, finally have an excuse to post, hoping you guys can help. We're working on a garage that is about 800 sq. ft. with 9 ft ceilings. It has good insulation in the walls and ceiling and two single stall doors that are insulated. We just moved in and it's in...

Wiring Line Level Thermostat into HUH724ST

So in the world of line level thermostats, it looks like there are two basic types...one could make the analogy of one to a simple on/off light switch and the other to a dimmer switch. The one I have is of the latter, analogous to a dimmer switch. This won't work to control a relay...you need...

Wiring Line Level Thermostat into HUH724ST

Okay, looks like I found the issue. The RLV310A has a comment in the first part of the instructions that it will not work with inductive loads, such as a contactor or relay. Argh. I had no idea there were resistive loads and inductive loads for line level thermostats. And when I called Marley to...

Wiring Line Level Thermostat into HUH724ST

I've got a HUH724ST (manual says Marley, but looks like its marketed under several brand names). Is anyone familiar with this unit? Its the bigger brother to th HUH524TA (7kw instead of 5kw). I'm trying to wire a line level thermostat (Honeywell RLV310A) to control the heater. I pretty much just...
