ok so you saw up til the end of day 1... day 2 of spraybombing is completed.
that blank space on the right is now a full wall mural for my car club...
stage by stage:
yeah I understand... like I said I know its not going to be up to everyone's taste. the good part is its just paint! if down the road I get bored of it... a couple coats of paint and its gone again.
now this is the part that I know not all of you are going to appreciate... but growing up in DC, I got used to it... and it reminds me of home:
beginning the pieces:
where we left it as of last night:
DC natives will recognize the homage to a legend of graffiti on my wall.
well i've been slacking... we didn't get around to doing any painting until about a week ago. Too busy doing other things in the nice weather...
we started by painting the plywood walls with 2 coats of Killz latex... this should help to kill/prevent mold from any moisture present in the garage...
yeah having grown up in Wash DC I got used to the whole graffiti as art culture... not a lot of people are really into it up here in rural Maine... trying to bring a taste of home to the garage with some spray art.
thanks!
hrm... a lot of the reading I did showed that as long as there was...
its hung up there pretty well with angle... the opener weighs approximately 26 pounds... i've hung my 350lb body from the metal... it's not going anywhere.
walls are going to be painted white and then the plan is to have a graffiti artist I know do a 3 wall mural... thanks to the cold and the...
Yes the covers came from Achtuning... I went to buy another set of them the other day and found out they no longer have them for sale and may not be having anymore made... my OCD wants me to have matching covers for all my tires lol!
you were close... A5 S-line... other than not having a V8...
there is a cable attached to the safety release that is attached to a keyed lock accessable on the front of the door. When you unlock the lock it comes out of the door so you can tug it to trip the catch and disengage it from the motor.
spent the day organizing the **** left over, and putting stuff into place so we could get the cars into the garage because street parking ban begins tonight!
threw my tire racks up on the wall today:
built that bench out of the butcher block... and already its covered in my wood scraps...
