Yes Cobbler you are right thank you. I didn't decipher the diagram and 2 required correctly.
So then I need just the two M521 unless I can figure out what to piece together out of bushings and spacers I have laying around in the shop.
I found this jack in Boston and brought it home near JAX.
It is missing the two shouldered spacers needed that go between the bottom of the handle where it pins into chassis.
Part M516 and M521
In picture below.
Without them the handle bar side pins are sloppy in the chassis by about 1/8 to...
Thanks.
I got the handle off and shipped it air freight on a pallet.
Took 30 minutes to finagle the handle off.
The two pins don't push in they pull out after removing allen screws in the main lower handle forging. There were two holes for the allen key screws. One on left one on right on to...
Good Morning fellas,
I am on a flight today to Newark (my base), then on to Boston Tues morning, after spending the night in Newark Crew Lounge, just to go to Boston tomorrow to pick up a Hein Werner Model M jack instead of going home to JAX today, Monday.
I think I need to remove the jack...
Wow finally got the big tank not off. Almost turned the big table over the vise was on with a big pipe. Much bigger vise and pipe than in the picture. My regular shop air impact wrench for tires didn't work either. Then I took it to a big truck tire shop and used their huge impact on it and that...
Looking for a Hein Werner model "M" 5/8 o.d. piston.
Mine has the plating eaten off some of it by rust in the past somehow. Must have been sitting outside with piston exposed for a while unused. But not since we had it as it was always inside since I was a kid and I'm 54 now.
Also trying to...
Wylie what do you mean?
I'm not an electrician by trade.
What is : #1 cu or # 4 cu
Ref: Im saying #1 cu for a 15HP motor is wasting money because you only need #4 cu (68a FLC * 1.25 = 85a.)
See I really appreciate the but if I were someone who understand jargon I wouldn't need help...
Why wasting money. I bought the brand new motor from a dealer who made the mistake of selling it to me for 1400 instead of the list price of 4400 which is what was needed to replace the original 15hp 3phase because no 3phase available. Learning about one of those converters to make 3 phase to...
"What made you pick a 60 amp breaker for a 15hp 60 amp motor?"
I didn't pick a 60 amp breaker. It is a 60 amp breaker running it at the moment and can be changed anytime in my personal non code and don't have to be code shop. After reading all the above and not getting straight answers I just...
Thanks.
Maybe in that thread link above I will find if when putting it back together is the tank threads sealed with something before reassembling. I didn't see in the seal/gasket picture blowup, a seal for the threaded end of the oil tank. Silicone/gas tank sealant?
Learned on my own that most of these wheels, both regular heavy duty casters, and regular roller wheels, have 5/8 " inside diameter, axle holes.
The above hard wheels I needed are for the swivel caster front wheels that the unit only rolls around on when the down rigger feet are up retracted...
