Great company to deal with. I love that the specialize in selling American made tools and list the country of origin so you don't get ripped off thinking something is made in the USA when brands off shore and keep the name.
Guilds and apprenticeships, just as was done for hundreds of years before these BS schools came about that can't survive without government backed debt slavery.

What really bothers me is that the US puts expensive environmental regulations on manufacturing in the name of global warming, and then we allow manufacturing to be moved to a place which pollutes so much worse. Aren't we on the same globe?

I think he meant more along the lines of industrial welding, which I agree. I personally would not ever Arc unless I had to or was doing a process which you mentioned. Now our fitters/welders at work. Those guys can Arc better than I can TIG.

I agree. Put some Chinese craftsman next to the older USA made, they are NOT the same. The Chinese gear box ends won't even fit in many places. I am done with craftsman and there is a Sears right down the street from me. I can literally see the parking...
