Thanks for the reply! So do you leave the unit off and then the comfy mode just turns it on as needed?

Sorry to bring this up again, but I just got my 36k unit installed this weekend in my 30x40x12 shop. I've tried to set the comfy mode but the heater is still using the minimum 62 temp and keeping it around 60 in there instead of 50 where I have it set in the comfy mode. Any suggestions?

Yes it is a red iron building. It has a girt at I think 8 feet and then the top rail at 12 feet. The insulation is 3 inch thick fiberglass rolls with the white backing.

Thanks again for the info. I went ahead and grabbed the 36k unit from that website. Ended up saving me 300-400 on shipping/tax. Will post some pictures on how I mount everything.

Awesome, thanks for the info. I’ll check their site out. Sounds like our shops are very similar but mine is a little wider. Does the 24k handle it pretty well? Debating on it or the 36k.

Thank you for the suggestion.. the installation manual doesn't have a special note for mounting to a metal sidewall with only insulation on the inside.

Yea we’ll be running conduit for the wires, and my buddy said MC from the junction box down to wherever I want the outlets. Was just wondering if there were other options other than mounting unistrut 8 feet long down to the floor for every outlet I want to put. Thanks for the input everyone...
