Ended up buying the Astro pneumatic .498 air hammer.
I'm a 100% believer.
It destroys my SO 3050. In hitting power. Actually havnt had a chance to do a king pin job yet. Been engine over haul month.
But drives out rusty crusty air brake anchors with ease.
Hey every one been looking into getting a .489 hammer/rivet gun. Been doing a ton of medium duty king pins lately. Thought maybe one of these will save my shoulder from throwing the sledge . my Snap On 3050 hammer although awesome isnt up to the task.
Also been looking at the astro pneumatic...
Probably end up with the Bj1 then .
I dont mind spending money for tools ill have for the rest of my life.
I brought up the AP kit because i have been impressed with the mini impact and few other tools from them.
I read some review's online. Seemed mixed.

95% of the time this will be used on medium and heavy truck brake anchor pins. Further im not changing brakes all day. Maybe once a week But because im a tool nut i wouldnt mind the adapters...

I'm a CAT diesel tech. I went with the big set of USA CM Stubbs. I would say 50% of the time I use them is on a really tight/tight space fastener I typically use a pry bar to wedge them out. I wouldn't think a ratchet wrench would hold up for me.

I have HF 72. I put my blow molded cases in it. Along with my binder with common specs for my job so I don't need to remember/ look them up
