    Toilet offset? Only 11-1/2"! D'Oh!

Toto's are good toilets. Even the daunted Champion 4 has been dethroned by my occasional visit to Lepe's.

    Lowe’s Craftsman Wrenches- Poor Quality

Craftsman tools used to be a middle of the road brand. SBD has done what every company does as standard operating procedure - buy the name and cheapen the quality to maximize the profit. With such an icon, this wasn't right. They could easily finish those wrenches much better for very little...

can compressor unloader valve be too small?

Mine does the same thing on a DeWalt two stage. Gotta remember you used to have a short length of pipe for the air to unload, now you have an entire transmission cooler that needs to be unloaded. They didn't design them for use with aftercoolers butNo issue it just takes longer. As cobbler said...

    Android OBD scanner reccomendation

OBDLink dongles are a great product. Granted you can find those cheap ELM clones everywhere but this one uses a genuine chip so it supports all functions. Its definitely one that will last and is worth the money.

    Are SAE tools dead?

You'll still find need for both. Working on cars, except for older ones, it's a metric world. But homeowner type stuff like nuts and bolts around the house, electrical, etc. is still majority SAE. Hydraulics and compressed air systems are still mostly SAE too. It makes sense to keep a set of each.

Leak free 1/2 NPT air fittings?

Hey guys, I keep running into an issue where factory hoses start leaking at the ferrule of the Barb in my hoses. Recrimping a new ferrule is a pain and they usually leak too. Does anyone know of some hose ends (1/2 NPT) that don't leak? Flexzilla makes a compression style end that works good...

Compressor experts: loss of flow w/ upgrade

Pcmeiners and MattT were correct. I swapped to an ARO 3/4 filter/regulator combo and the size difference is staggering. There is now only a 5psi drop at the regulator and tools feel much better. Upon looking at the regulator a little, it's threaded for 3/4 but inside it necks down to what looks...

Compressor experts: loss of flow w/ upgrade

No inlet pressure is 175psi,regulator is set to 140. I am swapping to an ARO one piece filter/reg combo. 230 scfm. At least we know that has been pressure tested, not just upsized fittings or a claimed number. Yes on the high flow fittings,so everything makes sense. Thank you guys for your...

Compressor experts: loss of flow w/ upgrade

Yes. So the question is where is the pressure drop... but at the same time it's 50 feet of hose.

Compressor experts: loss of flow w/ upgrade

I'll look and see what pressure I'm getting at the tool, and also the flow rating for the regulator: Max. Supply Pressure: 250 PSI/ Max. Operating Pressure: 0-150 PSI 10 Micron Particulate Element / Flow Rate: 180 SCFM @ 90 PSI Do you guys have a suggestion for a 3/4 regulator/seperator combo...

Compressor experts: loss of flow w/ upgrade

Hey guys, I switched out a 1/2 leader to 1/2 filter/regulator to a 3/4 leader (size of tank outlet) and 3/4 filter regulator for more air tool power (max flow). I also added a 3/4 tee directly after so the 50ft hose reel will get the most flow first. The manifold gets what's left since it's...
