I'm like a few others here. Any grease is better than no grease. I use the blue CNH High Temp from the Case IH dealer. It gets shot in everything about every 8-24 hours depending on what the book calls for. Bearings, U joints, ball joints, basically anything with a zerk.

They're extremely useful for what they were designed for. Most every farm truck around has one or two mounted on it. I had one for a while and loved it, however the constant banging around of the wrenches from side to side on the pegs drove me nuts. I've since went back to a road chest style box.

Have to agree with this. I've had dozens of steel boat trailers. Only one aluminum one. The alumi cracked up due to bouncing down rough roads going to boat ramps. The side guides bend and eventually break off if you load in current very much. The only thing I like about an aluminum trailer...

I drove a skidder for a logging company for about 4 years. All we used were Husqvarna 372XP's. Those things are just about bulletproof IMO.
