I’ve had a Wildfire double lift for four years (I’m actually selling it right now due to a move). It has been a great convenience, and there’s no center pole to get in the way. My wife and daughter hardly notice it because it’s bigger than the width of the door.
I offered it with the house. They made a full-price offer but did not want the lift. I purchased the double wide lift to keep a cleaner look vs. two single wide lifts. But I imagine they want it to look even cleaner.
About three years ago, I purchased a Wildfire Double Lift. It has been absolutely fantastic. The Wildfire team came out to install it and create their brochure pictures/videos while they did it.
Unfortunately, I am moving and the people that purchased the house do not want the lift. I've...
Located in Greenville, SC. This has been a great lift for us over the last four years. We are moving to a home without space for the lift, so we need to sell it. This is the actual lift used for the photos and time-lapse assembly video on the Wildfire site...
Sorry for the looonnnggg delay in responding! I only log on occasionally. I have a double-wide Wildfire lift and love it. Only issue I’ve is is that the aluminum ramps bend over time. But that is likely due to me not bracing them properly.
Here is an old pic. All but one of the cars has changed...
I have the Wildfire double wide lift. I’ve been very happy with it. Very well built, great attention to safety, and comes with a lot of items that some others charge extra for. I’d be happy to discuss it if you’d like.
I have done so on other threads. I’m just tired of debating the patsies that Advantage puts up so spread rumors. I think it’s completely classless. Just like I think the company that fed me rumors about Advantage is classless.
I met the actual owner of Wildfire during my purchase process. He...
You are proving my point by repeating a rumor. And others are spreading similar rumors about Advantage. I’d just hope that we can discuss these matters based on personal experience and data, not rumors people are being asked to spread.
There is a well-known lift company that claims Advantage knocked off their lift, and Advantage claims the same about Wildfire. I chose Wildfire based on their service and the great details that set them apart. And, frankly, I like companies that sell their own items without besmirching others...
Some advice from building mine:
1) Make the first floor tall—at least 12 feet. You might want to add a lift at some point in the future.
2) As long as you are taking on the expense of building it, do a nice second level. A garage doesn’t add MLS square feet. A living space does. The value it...
I second this. I got mine in red and they are holding up well.
EDIT: I was trying to quote the tec508’s post about Seville cabinets. Not sure what went wrong.
I think you have the right idea in looking at lifts with 4-sides posts vs. c channels. I have a Wildfire and it doesn’t move. I liked the features better than those on the Atlas, but they are among several lifts on the market that are very similar, and I really don’t think you can go wrong with...
