When should I pull up the masking tape?

I pulled it up right after I finished broadcasting the flake. It came right off and looks great. I was afraid it would become part of the floor as Shea mentioned. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

When should I pull up the masking tape?

I masked the whole wall/floor edge. I have only got primer done and am wondering if I should pull off the masking before I put the 100 % solids epoxy on the floor. I am worried that the tape won't come off cleanly when I take it off. If I leave it on when and how should I take it off? I used...

Adding sand to Rust-Oleum Concrete Patch and Repair

I'm going to angle grind some high spots that are left over from filling some fairly deep pits. I should really have the entire floor ground smooth but I'm willing to accept that the floor won't be perfect. I'll use the Rust-Oleum epoxy filler to smooth out as best as I can. A little sand will...

Adding sand to Rust-Oleum Concrete Patch and Repair

I picked up a 24 oz box of "Rust-Oleum Concrete Patch and Repair" at Home Depot. I've read that I can add sand to extend the coverage. I'm about to fill a few pits and feather out some areas of my concrete floor that have abrupt edges. Will this be ok to use prior to epoxy coating my garage...

    Stubborn efflorescence

Justin has been amazing in his response time. I didn't in any way mean to say the customer service wasn't great. Just the opposite. Justin has been very quick to answer my frequent questions.

    Stubborn efflorescence

I just got done with the solvent wipe. I used a liberal amount of denatured alcohol. The floor looks like it's ready now. The white powder is up. I am repairing the pitted surface with an epoxy cement product. I haven't heard back from Justin Krauss ( it's Sunday ). I wonder how long I need to...

    Stubborn efflorescence

I've Diambrushed the floor and etched the perimeter where the blade couldn't reach. I've power washed and leaf blown the garage. There is still a very thin, patchy layer of white powder which I assume is efflorescence. I did an over night plastic square moisture test and there was no moisture...

    Masking tape for concrete.

Thanks for the answer. It's a minor question as I mentioned.

    Masking tape for concrete.

    I'm thinking Scotch 2060.

    Masking tape for concrete.

It's a real question. What will stick to concrete? The stuff I've used usually falls right off. I'd rather not spend the 10.00 bucks on Gorilla tape if I don't have to.

    Masking tape for concrete.

I know this a small question but what kind of masking tape is best for concrete? I need to tape the concrete walls when I put down the epoxy.

Is it too cold for epoxy?

I think I'll pickup a small electric space heater. If it warms up as the weather report shows I'll probably go for it. If it looks at all dicey I'll wait. It would be awful to have to redo a bad job.

Is it too cold for epoxy?

All of the products say 50 degrees or above. I'm worried that the concrete will retain the cold from the previous night time 40s temperatures. After application it will need to cure. It seems a little tight in terms of having enough warm days. I really was hoping to get this done before winter...

Is it too cold for epoxy?

I'm looking ahead to next week's weather in Port Washington NY. ( Long Island) For most of the week it's in the low 50's or high 40's during the day and 45-35 during the night. I see a stretch of days that are 60/51, 66/52. ,63/52. ( day/night) Can I squeeze this in or do I have to wait until...
