I found this at a yard sale today. It looks to be about a 2 1/2 gallon. The spout is brass with a valve that you open by pulling back on the two rods.

On an old Curtis compressor I used wet sandpaper on a granite surface guage and polished all the mating surfaces(discs, valves). I saved some money there. Regards Barry
