    Hellfire Review

Scotty, That is what the chips look like on my floor under 2 coats of poly. drmarkr: The chips are under the epoxy dispersed on top of the last layer of wet hellfire.

    The (slow) garage/house project

Another long overdue update. The floor is done, and I built an overhang over the tools at the back of the shop for some more light and that vintage look :).

    Hellfire Review

I Just finished the Hellfire install on my 1200 ft^2 pole barn. I had to do it in two sections as I had some large equipment and a car I couldn't store outside during the install. I shoved everything to one side, swept, vacuumed out the corners/edges, wet and swept, then acid etched/neutralized...

    The (slow) garage/house project

If nothing else, this working from home atmosphere we are currently in has given me an excuse to fast track putting the garage back together. Since all the stores are closed and we are sticking close to home, house materials are scarce. I started assembling the larger machines so it will be...

    Omni-Ray lighting

Thanks guys. MY shop is 30x40x14 with a loft above the middle, so on the edges outside the lofted section the height is more like 16-18 foot. Light really gets eaten up in the space and I like a nice bright shop so the price vs size/brightness was alluring from these guys.

    The (slow) garage/house project

It's been a week since the concrete was finished, so yesterday I finally got to empty out my last storage unit and have everything back in one place again! Now I need to reassemble and find a home for everything.... Somewhere in that mess there is a mill, lathe, floor mounted drill press, band...

    The (slow) garage/house project

Finally some garage content! The guys started on the concrete Monday. They spent the day leveling and prepping the site, and then compacted the first load of sand: Then Tuesday we got another huge load of sand delivered, in the rain. The guys then discovered what I already knew, the garage...

    Virginia Beach 1,000sqft Attached Garage

I just built a house about 2 hours north of VA beach. Our footers needed to be 14" deep.

    The (slow) garage/house project

We are just waiting for CO and the bank to sign off on stuff, but we are pretty much done and ready to go.. Since the back porch will eventually be fully finished and turned into an office/second living room, I had to put a temporary board across the doors to make them inoperable. Looks like we...

    The (slow) garage/house project

Thanks! Garage updates are to come, right now it looks exactly the same as it did before. Until the house is to the point we can move in, all the free funds and time is dedicated to the house project. We also recently found out baby #2 is on the way, so we are on more of a time crunch to get...

    The (slow) garage/house project

All three days on the holiday weekend were spent at the house. Started tile first thing Saturday morning, was there until 1 am on Monday morning spreading grout... I went home and crashed for a few hours and was back at it Monday by 930. I had enough of tile for a while so my wife worked on...

    The (slow) garage/house project

Thanks. They are just maple butcher block from Lumber Liquidators, but my wife found a nice stain that really brings them to life. Out last house we did the same countertops, but we we just sealed them as-is. Now that I have seen them with a coat of stain on them first, it makes our old kitchen...
