    2018 Home Depot Clearance Thread

Re: 2018 Home Depot Clearance Thead I thought that seemed odd. There are a few items I want that have been stuck there for months. Have you seen .06 items drop after being held at that level for an extended time?

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

I don't recall this video being posted, but I apologize if it has been. It shows the enlarged battery bay replacement parts. Starts at 5:40.

Sorry, I jumped around a bit. I was comparing the weight of the High Demand 9.0 to the new High Output 6.0.

If I guessed the correct cells in the new packs, yes. You'd have to decide if it's worth the extra 10A draw. I would definitely say the 9.0 is better for lower draw tools. Check out the pic for a size comparison between the two. Not much different.

Definitely noticeable and I wonder if it won't fit in some of my tools (rocket light and jobsite fan). Each dimension is larger than the 9.0. On a second note, a few people were talking about the old and new 6.0 packs. Here's my guesstimate on those: XC 6.0: 40A max continuous. LG 18650 cells...

This is just a rough guess for the cells in the two batteries. Definitely could be wrong! 9.0 High Demand: 60A max continuous. LG 18650 cells. 12.0 High Output: 90A max continuous. Samsung 21700 cells.

I wouldn't think you'd see diminished power unless it was one of the new high amperage tools (possibly a few of the current ones as well). The amperage discharge is distributed through the parallel cell groupings, hence why Milwaukee talks about the 9.0 running much cooler than other packs...

Looks like Home Depot has some of the new tools and batteries listed on their website. Interesting a 2 pack of new 6.0 batteries is listed for $199. Note that you can't purchase them yet.

Totally agree with your points there. Hard to jump ship and add another battery platform. Milwaukee prices are high. I really want the M18 car charger, but I won't foot the $100 for one. The Ryobi charger is $39 and I may just convert it with a 3D printed M18 adapter.

Northern Tool has the Milwaukee jobsite fan for $59 and free shipping. This thing is great for camping and comes with a wall adapter also.

Not to beat a dead horse, but that ebay CPO 20% off deal still runs through today (promo code PREP4SUMMER). I posted this again because some of the inflated prices have dropped to regular Home Depot prices.

    2018 Home Depot Clearance Thread

Re: 2018 Home Depot Clearance Thead I know a few knife deals have been posted, but here are a few more. On a second note, does anyone know when new clearance prices become active? Is it at midnight (right when the store opens) or when the sticker is scanned and replaced?

Just a heads up, CPO via Ebay has 20% off tools today. Promo code PREP4SUMMER. Their prices are a little inflated, but there are some deals to be had. You can pick up that new M12 rivet gun for $135.

It was the new style with the non-moving handle. Has some heft to it.
