I would check out a cop supply store. They normally can fix them onsite. I am a Matco dealer and I stock parts to fix them. It just needs a new switch assembly.

your rep should be able to get warranty slides, and if that doesnt fix it then drawers. Your dealer can only do so much when it comes to matco credit. You should call and speak to a rep there. Your dealer is just that the dealer, not the financing company.

snappy has a good scanner. But why pay extra for just the name when they **** u on updates, and half the time the service *****. I would go for an Autel.

If you want the best bang for the buck scanner, go for a Aute MaxDias. For 2k or less you will get an OEM modeled scanner. I would highly reccomend looking into one. Just my 2 cents. Then with all the money you save buy a MATCO tool box!

From what I have been told, Mac dealers buy their rachet repair kits and dont get them replaced, they just have to eat it. The key to warranty is to be nice about it. I have had old guys meet me at one of my shops and demand that I warranty tools, I in turn tell them I don't have to do...

Make sure the kid doesnt owe money on it still as they offer Financing at the tech school level. I would have a dealer run the serial number for you, other wise bad things could happen ie: box repo

Most of my diesel guys are using Matco's Mini Pitbull air rachet. They seem to like the trigger throttle vs the lever, and the power at 45flbs! I would reccomend that you ask your dealer to demo one, he should have a demo unit available!

You can buy a set of Matcos for about the same price (as normal list price) and if you time it right you can buy 10-19mm and get 20-24mm for free!!!
