I know that feeling all too well.
I am currently looking for some "reasonable" property in the area. (I am in Cypress) Would love to build a new spot on a few acres but prices are just outrageous these days.
Little update.
Was able to find a great price on a lightly used Bendpak Asymmetrical lift. Needless to say, it is awesome.

Cabinets arrived. Picked them up and they were a little tough to unload by myself. But I got it done LMAO..... and with no injuries that I know of yet.

It is something a lot of garages in Texas have. It is an elevated portion for workbenches and other equipment while the lower portion are the "bays" for the cars. Raise portion I believe are to help prevent items getting wet if flooded here in Texas. Every house I have lived in has had these...

Electrical work has been completed. Only items remaining is final wiring of lifts once they are installed.
