Funny enough, Home Depot had a killer deal on their heavy gauge husky cabinets (all black with anodized black handles)

I got a few components this weekend and will be installing/hanging the wall cabinets this week. I need to pick up the air compressor (currently at my brothers) and get that moved over.

Things are moving along. Hopefully, in the next month or so, I will order the lifts.

I've been looking at the Husky Heavy Gauge cabinets as well. Will be curious to hear your thoughts on them when you get them installed.

A little update.

Cabinets arrived. Picked them up and they were a little tough to unload by myself. But I got it done LMAO..... and with no injuries that I know of yet.

Then I got to work on getting things moved around and spaced out for the layout.

Once those were cleared from my truck, I had my "pod" redeliverd to let the installation process begin. Felt good to have my tools back.

Making progress!

And already full of junk! ;)

Now the time to get a lift on order so I can really start tearing into my projects.

Look forward to revisiting this in the future so I can see how well these cabinets last once I get some weight in them. Overall, the installation was easy. The soft close feature is nice on the drawers and construction seems solid. Liked the easy to use LED lights that also came with them.

With the majority of this done, I am on to the next set of projects around the house. :D

Great job! Thanks for the inspiration. My shop at home is roughly the same size and I loaded it with all of my **** when we moved to ohio. Finally getting around to cleaning it up and getting back onto some of my car projects.

Thanks. Glad to get most of the hard stuff over with. Hopefully this lasts me for the next 5 year or so. Give me some time to save for the next build! :shocking:

No problem. I pine over the amazing builds here and can't wait to do my absolute dream build. Just working hard so I can make it happen in my lifetime so that I can enjoy the fruits of the labor!

I will more than likely keep this thread going with updates on my cars as well. Fun to hang out on GJ.

Please do. I almost enjoy seeing how the garages get used more than how they are built. Plus, you have a few cars that I happen to like so I wouldn't mind seeing how you build them.

I concur.

Besides... A garage/shop, such as a project car, is never really done, is it?

Little update.

Was able to find a great price on a lightly used Bendpak Asymmetrical lift. Needless to say, it is awesome.

Below is the marking up of where I was wanting the lift to go. Wanted to have enough space for a car on each side of it.

Setup! Shortly after my Dad and I wired the lift up for use.

Once installed, used the Wife's 2017 GT as the test vehicle lol

I went through and got the first project car setup in the lift as we are replacing the suspension with a Ride Tech Street Grip unit.

Also I was able to go through and get my Nova fired up with it's first start after the LS Swap. Video below!

First Start video. (Heads/Cam LS1 with a Holley Terminator X)

And finally, all cars are at home, more tools on order and last piece to get in is the air compressor!!
