So between the Snap on rep and the apprentice who inherited this box from his grandfather, we were trying to figure out if this was a special edition box for Snap-one’s 50th or when this paint colour would’ve been available.

Bought a used Snap-on screwdriver set. One has either been almost never used or replaced recently. Anyone have any advice keeping the names and part numbers from wearing of the handles?
I wasn’t sure what to do about the missing paint on the front cover. To repaint it would cause me lose all the retro decals. But I had to figure something out to mitigate it.

Mine was trying to hold bolts in place on idler pulleys on a Hesston 956 baler when re assembling drive chains. You work above your head for a couple of them if you’re fixing it in the field and a wrench is basically useless until you have the nut started.
Snap-on HJ47ACF pliers with bolt grip.... anyone have these? Do you like them? I don’t know why I bought them other than I thought they may be useful next year when dad says the baler is “field ready” and I spend a week fixing it again.
Any thoughts.

So a couple months ago I inherited a big pile of.... stuff, from my great uncle when we moved him into personal care. In the better stuff was these like new screwdrivers that were sold by Beaver Lumber back when they were still around.
I’ve never seen hand tools they sold before in this good...
Also if anyone has handles with 2.75 inch spacing centre to centre on bolt holes, I could really use some replacements as I cannot track them down. (I don't really do ebay)
