    Vintage Snap-on Box

So between the Snap on rep and the apprentice who inherited this box from his grandfather, we were trying to figure out if this was a special edition box for Snap-one’s 50th or when this paint colour would’ve been available. Any insights?

    MAC Box from 1970’s

New handles finally arrived. Not original but as close as I could get. 2.75 hole spacing made it difficult.

    Snap-on Hard Handles

I don’t buy Snap-on Tools not to use them. I like to keep stuff in good condition. My tools are no different.

    Snap-on Hard Handles

Bought a used Snap-on screwdriver set. One has either been almost never used or replaced recently. Anyone have any advice keeping the names and part numbers from wearing of the handles?

    MAC Box from 1970’s

I wasn’t sure what to do about the missing paint on the front cover. To repaint it would cause me lose all the retro decals. But I had to figure something out to mitigate it. I ended up calling up our local vinyl decal and graphics shop and got them to fish me a piece of black out of their...

    My latest Snap-on Purchase...

Mine was trying to hold bolts in place on idler pulleys on a Hesston 956 baler when re assembling drive chains. You work above your head for a couple of them if you’re fixing it in the field and a wrench is basically useless until you have the nut started.

    My latest Snap-on Purchase...

Snap-on HJ47ACF pliers with bolt grip.... anyone have these? Do you like them? I don’t know why I bought them other than I thought they may be useful next year when dad says the baler is “field ready” and I spend a week fixing it again. Any thoughts. Sent from my iPhone using The Garage...

    MAC Box from 1970’s

Also if anyone has handles with 2.75 inch spacing centre to centre on bolt holes, I could really use some replacements as I cannot track them down. (I don't really do ebay)

    MAC Box from 1970’s

There are few things that show character like an old tool box. Well.... Fresh from Saskatoon. Found this old Mac Toolbox for Sale. It bought it off a college student who bought it from a retired mechanic from the Prince Albert Paper Mill. Ran up there, bought it and drove home. Spent an...
