Thanks for the advice guys. My pressure switch is a .55WC. I’ll likely give the one on supply house a shot.

    Reznor FT45

Hello, I have an older(from ~ 2000) Reznor FT45 Unit Heater in my garage. It recently threw a code for a pressure switch. I jumped the pressure switch and found it to be faulty. So, I know I need a new pressure switch to get me back up and running. My issue, the pressure switch I need...

Excess Moisture in Garage - Winter-

What would I check the slab for? Not sure what you mean by tape plastic square on it. I would not consider my home to be in a wet area. The issue is much worse when snowing, and driving the vehicles inside the garage, then melt the snow...although this is obviously going to cause the...

Excess Moisture in Garage - Winter-

Do these run on some sort of trigger system, via humidity? Or are they just continuously on? Any recommendations? I assume there there needs to be two holes, to compensate for negative air?

Excess Moisture in Garage - Winter-

I had the same issue last year with the heater running. Fuel is NG. I'm located in central MN, and normally heat the garage to 50*.

Excess Moisture in Garage - Winter-

See that's the thing. I haven't even started using it yet this year. It stays almost 50* in it with the warm vehicles and 3 sides attached to the house. But, I will get a dehumidifier and see how that helps.

Excess Moisture in Garage - Winter-

Hey guys, just curious what can be done about excess moisture within a heated/insulted/sheet rocked garage? On my attached garage, which we use for our daily vehicles, we get a lot of moisture in the winter. I'm aware this is from the snow on our vehicles(or changed outside conditions), but...

Regulator placement - Mr. Heater Big Maxx

So I'm installing my garage heater, a 50k Big Maxx because I just couldn't source a small boiler for my in floor heat. Last year I was running an electrical boiler, and the cost to heat my garage was absolutely ridiculous. So, for not I'm going to run this unit heater. Anyways, my gas is high...

    Gas Hydronic Heating Options

I guess the next question would be, am I better off just buying one of these pre-built control panels for a micro boiler? Currently, my system just has the single pump, an extension tank, which I think I should respect anyways and a pretty old stat. So I would be replacing the tank and stat, I...

    Gas Hydronic Heating Options

Here is another option I found before, just not sure on the quality of the item. But it is a modulating unit. So this might be a better option then the Takagi...

    Gas Hydronic Heating Options

Alright, I've been doing some looking around. Mainly at supplyhouse. And, I''l apologize for my ignorance on this, but I'm looking at different models from Takagi, which was mentioned earlier in this post. So, I'm not finding a lot of options in the 40-60K BTU area, but could I get a...

    Gas Hydronic Heating Options

Sorry, I should have mentioned my location. I'm located in Central MN. I figured it would be much cheaper I know others that run gas and they're astonished how much my electric bill was this last winter. Which got me thinking about going to a gas boiler. So when you go the water heater...

    Gas Hydronic Heating Options

Alright, I checked my bills from last winter. For electric, I see: $.105/kWh For NG, I see: $.4987/therm Also, in the dead of winter I was seeing about 2500 kWh of consumption. Now, in Oct, where I wasn't using the AC or heater in the detached, I was seeing about 450 kWh consumption. So...
