Hey folks I've got an autokato 8k midrise lift that's stuck up now. It was stuck up 6" from the ground with my car on it. With lots of wood and tomfoolery, I got the car off and started playing with it to figure out the issue. Now it's stuck higher up. When you press the down button, it will...
I've got a wall mount vacuum with a 50 ft hose. I had the vac mounted at the back of my garage, then ran the hose to the front and used a garden hose hanger with a storage compartment in the middle to hold the excess hose and the attachments. It worked out great for me.

Wow, that is an amazing set up! Mine won’t be that fancy, I work on cars for fun as well. What color and sheen did you do your walls in? I’m thinking light gray glossy. How do you like the kranzle?!? I’m used to a big gas pressure washer now and am leaning towards the ar630tss because it’s...
Thanks for all of the input. I wash outside, this isn't prepped for inside washing unfortunately. Most of my work is polishing/ceramic coating and I already have a set of quickjacks that work great to get the vehicle up and make polishing easier.
Thanks,
Brian
I thought the can lights would work well. I have a buddy who just did them in his shop and they looked great. I will revisit lighting today. Electrician will be here tomorrow then I'll deal with lights. I need electric quick for the air compressor and pressure washer and I know where these...
Thanks for the (negative) reply... I was trying to ask what software people have used to lay things out.... Also looking for input from other detailers on their layouts. I never had an optimal layout previously so it's hard to know what it would look when you've compromised for so long because...
Hey everyone, I just moved in to my new house and took ownership of my detached garage that I've been trying to get for years... I detail on the side and am looking for ideas to lay everything out. The garage is about 22.5 ft deep and 19.5 ft wide with a 2 car garage door on the front side and a...
Hey guys, I tried search but didn't find what I was looking for. Does anyone know a good resource for replacing the fixed wheels with spinning wheels on the 5 drawer HF cart? I looked in HF but the bolt base plate was too small on the 5" wheels.
Thanks,
Brian
Thanks for the input. I found these which look like they might work (I don't care about keeping the 1/2" deeps upright). the base is pretty thin on these but will also come out to be pretty expensive in the end.

Hey guys, I just got the 56”harbor freight top box and would like to move my sockets up but my current socket organizers are too tall with deep sockets. I believe I’ve seen flat steel plates with posts attached. That would work My current ones have a 1/4” tall base and that plus the deep...
if you're a member of sams club, every holiday season they seem to carry a channel lock set of screw drivers that are pretty decent. the tips have held up well for me, have an impact metal plate on the top of the handle, good shape, usually a pretty good value as I see it!
Brian
Who does this dude think he is that anyone would give a **** whether or not he's going to shop at HF again? You're not the Warren Buffett of tools.
