I needed more reasons to avoid working on the racecar yesterday, so I decided I needed another engine stand. I picked up some casters from princess auto, and the rest was steel from around the shop. For less then $50 invested, it will do just fine.

i searched high and low today, no identification on this box. I did find a # on the slider, but searching it on google did nothing. the number was 101967a.

there is a number stamped in the slider. I googled it, but no luck.

we use them at work. for the money they are ok. we only seem to get about 6-8 months out of them at best, but for under $30, you cant expect more (keep in mind it gets used on every oil change in a busy 6 bay shop)

I need a new ball bearing slide for my Husky tool box, so I go to home depot. apparently its not that easy. They give me a 1-800 number to call. The person on the phone informs me that many diffrent manufacturers have built for husky over the years, and I would need to find our who it was, and...

depends what your doing. I work on race cars, so I do just fine with a 1 3/4" 90 degree and a 1" 180 degree. I found that mike green 4x4 was cheaper for protool dies then dealing with protool directly

I have a miller elite (29 roadster) and I would never go back to a cheap one again. It wasn't cheap, but its worth every penny.....

like people have said already, i'd start asking around smaller building supply stores (Home Hardware stores) in the st jacobs, stratford and elmira areas. I am sure there out there, they just dont advertise on the internet or in the yellow pages...

thats turned out awsome. how many hours do you think you have into it?

the basement sounds very costly. why not build and attached garage. in many areas, a covered breezeway is enough to count as attached. this would get away from the rules of an out building. you could go two stories, with the man cave upstairs. This would probably be alot cheaper then a basement

why did you bolt the sign pole to that bracket, and not right to the ground?
