If you have a local "vape" shop they should have nichrome or Kanthal resistance wire in different gauges. You might be able to find it at a local heating and a/c place also. If you can wait there is tons on fleabay for dirt cheap. Good luck in the search.
At work I used the 4 Piece Anti-Fatigue Foam Mat Set from harbor freight. It works good and easy to cut with a exacto knife. One side is smooth and the other is like a knurled texture. And it's a lot cheaper than the specialty foam made for tool boxes.:beer:
I think you need the machine shop take another .0005 off the crank, that would put you at the min on all but the one that was @.0015 that one would be .0020 and still in spec. Unless someone has a better idea, it's been forever that I have built an engine but I think that is the correct thing...
Thanks for the link. My local jiffy lube will take anti-freeze neer me. I usually had to wait about a month to dispose of it at the local Waste Managemant hazmat site.
