The bolt mentioned is on the previous design (822.6), separate connector shell. For this job, a wood wedge should help. Tap in gently, pry against the wedge and the trans case above. As you know, the connector is part of the conductor plate, expensive and married to the VIN.

Rotate it & retighten. This is done all the time in much more critical applications (high pressure flammable gasses).
