It's not a 60 gallon tank it's #60 extrol expansion tank. Smaller systems use #30. Pump isn't going to dead head it has a primary loop manifold. When DHW calls for heat it circulates boiler heat side of water through a heat exchanger that has your DHW on the other side. I'm just checking to make...
Any one here using a navian? I have a 240/130 model. I just installed and only using DWH currently heat side is capped off after air separator and expansion tank. My system is filled to 16psi at idle and once internal pump starts it jumps to 25psi. Is that normal? I do have a large expansion...
So not a garage but wanted some advice. So this is a basement thats in ground. My issue im concerned about is there's no perimeter insulation and nothing on top of footer. Problem is we only have 4in to what the top of concrete needs to be so.if I put 1 or 2 in of insulation on top my concrete...
Thanks for all the information after posting I thought it definitely doesn't seem right to share wire. So going to run separate and I do plan to buy cl2 or 3 cause it will be in the wall. It may be cca cause it's hard to find just copper and expensive don't wanna spend 200 bucks on speakers
Before putting up rough cut lumber walls I wanted to put speaker wire behind it. I planned one speaker in all 4 corners of garage. I wonder if I have to run a separate wire to each speaker or can I run it to one then tap off it to the next one.
Like two left ones on same wire and two right on...
Sounds like this turned into a back feeding debate lol but something else most people don't think of is your generator floating or bonded neutral? If it's bonded now you have created two paths the bond in your panel and the bond at the generator that will potentially make your grounds hot.
Here's how it's turning out. While taking down old fiberglass it was moist and all the nails sticking through were dripping water so I'm guessing there wasn't enough insulation causing condensation? It also wasn't sealed very well.
I'm hoping the foam will be enough. It's currently been in the 30s
It says extreme climate and shows cold so if this does loose r value in cold isn't that false advertising? I'm just torn between using it or taking back to get the purple stuff. It's cold here 6months of year and gets in the negative temps
So I'm insulation a attic space of my old farm house had some leftover over xps I started using and needed few more sheets.
But at home Depot I noticed polyiso never really seen it before says it's closed cell foam so I decided to buy it cause of the great r value and the rest of my house is...
Yes it's technically conditioned now the actual attic use to have roof vents they are now covered and everything is sealed by spray foam from what I have read it may shorten life of shingles but it's okay other than that. My attic stays cool now in summer.
If I use the foam board is 2in enough...
So this isn't a garage but hopefully I can get some good suggestions. I have a 1/1/2 story house and had half of the upstairs spray foamed with closed cell to back side of roof. A lot of people have there opinions on it but it's already done and not changing.
So we are looking at finishing the...
So year later still in the process lol was wondering if someone could help make sure I'm doing everything right. What type of expansion tank do I need are there different sizes? Also does it matter where it's installed? I plan to add secondary tee I'll have a system relief, air bleeder, auto...
