Badger Insulated Pipe? Anyone buy from them?

What size is the space you're heating and is it insulated well? I plan to buy the 100k unit which is overkill, I calculated I need 50k BTU for my 1200 sf Garage, but with the low cost of the 100k I figure the extra BTU's will allow me to heat up the garage faster, since I plan on keeping it at...

Badger Insulated Pipe? Anyone buy from them?

I'm actually not going to bury this Pipe, so the water infiltration shouldn't be an issue. My new garage addition, that I plan to heat, is on the far end of my existing garage, so I need the insulated pipe to run from my basement Boiler through 36' of an Unheated Garage (suspended along an...

Badger Insulated Pipe? Anyone buy from them?

Anyone ever purchase Heating supplies for Badgerinsulatedpipe.com? The sell components for heating systems like insulated Pex, Heat Exchangers, Hydronic Ceiling mounted heaters etc? Prices seem very affordable, but I can't find much info on them so I'm looking for reviews of their products and...

Hydronic or Gas Heater - Which is more efficient?

So now I am also considering a Dual Split Heat Pump, because I was told they are a lot cheaper to run than either the gas fired air or hydronic units. The only downfall is they take the room a little longer to bring up to temperature. This is a 24x48' Garage on an exterior insulated slab with...

Hydronic or Gas Heater - Which is more efficient?

I have the option of heating my new garage with either a Hydronic unit which I would run off my existing Home Nat Gas fired boiler which already has a spare manifold and control box for another zone or a direct Nat Gas fired Modine type unit. Hydronic requires running water lines through a 36'...

    Advice on electrical Plan Needed?

I WAS THINKING ABOUT A WALL MOUNTED OPENER, but the Garage door guy didn't recommend them for a 16' door. So I think I'll go with a standard ceiling mount and be sure to add that to the plan. THANKS FOR ALL THE REALLY GREAT IDEAS! BOB D.

    Advice on electrical Plan Needed?

For a couple reasons, my ceiling height is just over 10', so with the recessed/Flush mounted cans I can maximize headroom for the lift. I have a second floor space above this, and If I had exceeded 10' the Addition would have started to Dwarf the house. The other reason was definitely energy...

    Advice on electrical Plan Needed?

Yes I already have a Compressor with 220V already in a Bay adjacent to this Addition. I plan to keep it there, primarily for Noise reduction, and pipe through the wall into the new area. Bob
