Max Jax vs Bendpak mid rise

Do you want to be able to remove your exhaust, and access the underside of your car? If you do you need the maxjax. If not the bendpak will get it up for doing suspension work. If it was me, I would get the maxjax. If It is what I did do, I got a full size 2 post and sent the tops into the attic.

Wow this whole place is looking great. It would be cool to see some pictures of the whole thing.... but I am going to assume its messy and you don't want to show that off. Its what made me take so long to share more pictures of my garage.

    Compressors and storage tanks

Another thing is see if there are any people or companies that work with Air Compressors. You may talk to them first and know that they will do a once over for you and fix anything that is bad. Get a quote of $100-$300?? Then pick up the used one, drop it off, pick it up fixed. Still cheaper...

    Lets see your workbench

Here is a dirty shot of mine. Simple 2x4 build. Its in progress still. The surface is old cafeteria table tops from a university. They are smooth and very solid. The legs haven't been reinforced due to wanting to make shelves. The small section in the middle I want to have the little boxes sit...

chain body shop part? What is it?

I got these in a cabinet I bought from a dealership that was located by a the body shop area. What are they? They almost seem like a pipe expander, but that makes no sense. I'm really just curious as I usually know what stuff is used for... not this.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Put up some shelves to clear the area in front of the engine. There used to be a bench there that made squeezing in front a tad difficult.

One more tool storage question LOL

I have my main tool box with general tools. Then I have a few tool boxes/bags that have different specialty tools in it. The boxes include Electrical, Plumbing, Drywall. These are smaller categories but it is nice to have all specialty tools in one box to grab when something needs to be.....

    New Home, New Garage.

Well it has been a long time since any updates. Re-reading the thread it seems to have been even longer than I remember. Since Then I had moved my workbench to the wall against the house, I didn't like it there so I moved it to the back wall in the garage. I ran the 220 to the garage over the...

    Cman ratcheting open wrench set

DON'T USE THEM! If you are in a situation where these will work, you might as well just go on and off. The mechanism for me is awful and these are never used except as a hammer or wedge. Your experience may be different but I would not get them just to have.
