So a while back my box went underwater during hurricane Katrina down here on the coast. It was washed with freshwater and cleaned the best it could have been but that was 2 weeks after the storm. So it is starting to rust now and has over spray all over the box which was their when i purchased...
Looks like i should look around more at SK stuff i searched on Grainger and they were expensive. I am looking for chrome sockets so far i am looking into the Gearwrench Carlyle and proto. Thanks for all of the advice so far
So i have been looking around for some new sockets in 1/2" drive to replace my harbor freight set they are just getting plain wore slap out. The Snap on set seems to be around 280 bucks for 12-24 the SK set i looked at is 10-24 and just seems a little to high to me for SK i know they make a good...
GDocktor3 when i took mine apart it didn't look like you could make the hole bigger due to an O ring seal. I however ordered a rebuild kit. I will let you know of the outcome and if the new cover fits with no issues.
i do not recommend the lowes Kobalt swivels i have broken the 12mm about 3 times and broken knuckles hurt when they pop just my opinion i am looking into get some Sunex impact ones myself and not bothering with the chrome ones anymore

No i didn't file a claim just because the part number was correct on the item description he had entered i looked like 3 times. It just wasn't very clear.

Shockwave the part number for the rebuild kit is RKRSR936 for the 1/2 drive but no luck on the dust cover yet.
